If your product is professional services, use the seminar/educational format to get warm leads. Make it non-promotional. Then target key attendees who want to keep with on the latest information.
Holding an event? Bolster engagement by selecting an event or #convention #hashtag and then inviting people to post photos of the event and to chat about it.
